Agreed, ISU is so goofy. Hopefully we’re still in big 12 title contention at that point.

Just got home and seen the score. Now glad I did as I was going to try and avoid it and watch. Would have hated to sat through all of that to have it end as it did. And from reading it seems as though there was lots of home cooking. I seen the FT shooting discrepancy. Wow. That loss hurts but still lots to play for. Every single game left is more than winnable, should be favored to win. So just don’t let this game become more than the one it is. And it was good to see Lee back in the box score.
Yep. Our season went off the rails with the Lee injury. We probably have to win out now to finish in the top 4 in the league. Chances of a top 4 seed in NCAA are slim.

I’m not sure I see it that way. We’re still in a 3 way tie for second. We now have our full team back. We get to play one of the teams we’re tied with at home, WVU and they also have games against Oklahoma and Baylor.
Texas has to go to Oklahoma. ISU is two games behind and has to go to Texas and come to Manhattan. If we win out and OU does beat UT again, and it is in Norman, we could end up in 2nd.
Our chances to win the big12 are certainly not great, but being in the top 3 should be very likely.
There will also be opportunity to improve our ncaa seeding in the Big12 tournament. And I like our chances to be a 3 seed or higher.
All 4 of this teams losses have been close hard fought losses. Again, now full strength I look for them to make a run. Lots to be optimistic about with this team, especially in comparison to the men’s up and down team.

We'll beat em in Manhattan. And we'll do it without needing 2 OTs and 16 more free throws than them. Hilton Magic what a joke. Also, I'll take Sundell over Ryan 10 out of 10 times!

I have a feeling that she is not an Emily Ryan fan.

We were stomping most teams prior to injury. The good news is that Yoki is not limping, as she was before the latest surgery. Hopefully she will be better than ever when she gets the rust off.

without reading your comments above, here are my morning afterthoughts:
1. yoki was pretty rusty from the get-go, then settled down the second half;
2. serena played another strong game, she doesn't shoot enough;
3. iowa state's 31-36 (83%) from the free throw line did us in - never missed down the stretch;
4. their big played with our big for much of the game which surprised me;
5. it was good to see sides out there making a contribution with serena at off-guard;
6. sanchez is so athletic but needs to work on finishing her shots at the goal;
7. tv crew was putrid to put it mildly;
8. kansans brown and ryan are surely chuckling - isu played with great focus and heart to earn the victory;
9. the loss blew cats out of the regular season championship race - boo;
10. but yoki will improve as play continues and this team with her.

Definitely agree on the ISU commentators. At least do a little homework before coming on air. The guy was clueless most of the night. We had 2 turnovers in the paint 1 for 3 seconds and 1for an offensive foul and both times he says I guess she stepped out of bounds. Called the game tied when we were down 2. And never knew who had the possession arrow or the team foul count. Amoung a handful of others.
I did learn that Ryan is from Chaflin KS and Serena sometimes goes by Sierra.
