Re: It’s Not How You Start ... It’s How You Finish
One thing I've learned about Bruce is that we will likely get throttled today. Why? Because I'm encouraged with what I saw last night. Every damn time I get my hopes up his teams seem to kill it. Just like every damn time you think we are the worst team on the planet, they pull a nugget out of their butts. He, to me, is the most frustrating HC we've ever had.

The team looked good last night, but I'm not letting a couple games against the fellow bottom feeders of the B12 get me enthused.
It's no doubt that they have looked better the last couple weeks, but I do think the competition has had something to do with it.
Today will tell if there has been any real progress, but sadly, it means we will have to muddy up the game. If KSU is to keep this game a battle, it will not be pretty to watch. I fully expect to lose by 20+, but this is the one team in the B12 that KSU can show progress against and still lose (I get no satisfaction against close losses against the others in the B12 because they are all beatable).
Be competitive most of the game and keep within 12 and that will show me some progress...lose by 20 and not much has really changed other than playing against other crappy teams.

oklahoma is not a b12 bottom-feeder.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

Bruce will be back next year. We will see how it goes. If he goes 6-12 or better in the conference, he will get more money and time.

My gosh, I hope this is the end for BW. He's done a nice job, but it's time to move on.

Solid finish for our Wildcats but the majority of the season was far from solid. Pack and Bradford are the real deal. We'll see how many players stick around for the entirety of their careers. I expect to see Weber back but certainly wouldn't shed a tear if he retires.

It looks like the team got some good mojo from the end of the season, and working hard this spring.
