FYI, my web searches did not find anything that said what Kamau is doing now.

I would guess that he is looking for another place to play basketball.
This site is usually pretty accurate on where they are, or are not playing. So you are correct, he isn't with any team right now.

The Bruce Weber wiki looks for the most part to be up to date: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Web ... rs_coached

DJ Johnson is playing for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League.
Thanks Orion. That one’s at least easier to research. Looks like 13.3 mpg and 5.9 points/game. Rebounds good at 4.8 with only that few minutes.

As a matter of fact DJ played against Barry last night! DJ 8 points. Barry 6. If you have NBA g league app you can check out all these g league games.
I'm fortunate enough to live in the Des Moines area and my family had been regular attenders this year because of Barry's signing. I was actually at the game last night. I threw up a "WC" sign as DJ hit the court in pregame. He saw me nodded and smiled. DJ is still a very high motor guy and was extremely active while he was in.

Barry is adjusting to the NBA 3 line and still gets after it on D and is very disruptive. Early in the year he was unable to finish at the rim like I'm used to seeing. I think a lot of that was bigger and more physical/athletic players in the post. Seems like he has largely made the adjustment in that regard.

I also got to see Angel Rodriguez come through around New Years. Still super quick, was taking a lot of players off the dribble. They played 2 games over three days. Angel had a huge game the first matchup but wasn't as productive in the second.

Unfortunately, the Iowa Wolves have no matchups with the Cleveland Charge this season.

Outside of K-State Alum, I've enjoyed watching the Iowa Wolves this year. The Timberwolves have had injury issues so a lot of Iowa Wolves players have spent time with the NBA club and played really well. Naz Reid and Kelan Martin have had some big games when called up.

Iwundu scored 19 in a win last night against LA. He is 6 for 11 from three in the the 6 games in 2020. Iwundu has averaged 25 minutes a game in those 8 games. More importantly, Orlando is 6 and 2 in those 8 games.

With Evan Fournier out for the game, the Orlando Magic needed someone to step up and fill that void. If not his scoring then fill in the gap in energy that the Magic lost in offensive consistency. The bench was getting called upon to step up in a big way. A way that the Magic have struggled with at various points throughout the season. Wesley Iwundu stepped into the starting lineup and made a huge impact in energy.
The Magic raced to the lead and held serve for much of the game because they were able to turn their defense into offense quickly. No one was running and getting ahead of the defense more than Wesley Iwundu. He scored a career-high 19 points on 5-for-8 shooting, making eight of his 10 free throws. He added two steals for good measure.

Iwundu was emblematic of the energy the Magic brought to this game. He was flying to the ball and getting out in transition. He took it to the basket strong. And that confidence flowed from him to everyone else. When Iwundu is making shots like this, that energy gets to everyone else.

Barry Brown is playing 25 minutes a game for the Timberwolves G League Team. Averaging 10 points a game. Interesting he is 42 for 119 on threes for 35%. Thats pretty good with a decent sample size.

3P 3PA 3P% PTS

2019-20 42 119 .353

Do we have any Wildcat alum playing for the North Korea Missiles? I think they're in the Asian Atomic League.

Edwards played there for a while. They liked his explosiveness but he was a little too volatile. He would lob up some bombs which were usually off target. If they tried to defuse him he would go ballistic. I think he now plays for the Shanghai Warheads in the Intercontinental League.

Our bigs are playing like "Little Rocket Men". Does that count for anything?

Sounds like his incendiary personality put him on a different trajectory. I hope his payload is better with the Warheads.
