Losing Zuber and Rison may prove to be a blessing in disguise, especially since they both were in trouble. I'm excited to see our young guys step up.
What ? A blessing , losing scholarship players a blessing ?
Getting rid of guys who break team rules and beat up women? Yes. Their transferring to other schools has opened up opportunities for some of the young guys who would have to wait another year to see the field. I'm looking forward to see guys like Gill, Knowles, Taylor, and Youngblood develop in this system.

Besides, now Coach Klieman can use those two extra scholarships to bring in more of his own players or give them to deserving walk-ons.

rison was more worried about himself and his 'fun' than being part of the team. good riddance to potential cancer. i hated losing zuber but know nothing about his potential suspension which, frankly, is pure hearsay at this point in time.
The sources are usually pretty accurate and were pretty confident that there was a suspension coming. At the very least, if there is enough smoke, there is usually a fire behind it.

So when we lose Jesse Ertz and Nick Lenners to injury in the first series of the first game of a season I'm supposed to be positive about the attrition because those players get to contemplate what might have been instead of actually playing a full season, a chance to study the game on the sidelines as it were or how about Alex Delton, that is more attrition to be appreciated as a potential blessing? Sorry I can not think of an example of attrition being a blessing. Maybe Rison was a cancer, but I would have to see some hard evidence before concluding that addition by subtraction is applicable to his situation.
you make some damn weird comparatives. rison was charged with and pleaded guilty to beating a girl. he left the program. good riddance.

Zubs seems to be primarily a possession guy. Not a lot of YAC despite looking to have the tools to do so.
