Don't get into the KC area very often any more, but Wed and Thur had biz near the KC airport and in Corporate Woods. Had the op to eat at two outstanding BBQ joints,
First was The Hanger just east of KCI.
The second was at Q39 on Antioch Road.
Both were absolutely amazing BBQ and service. Highly recommend them both. Of the pair, The Hanger was the best bargain. Q39 the best ambiance.
I know KC is famous for all its BBQs, but if any are better than The Hanger and Q39, then they're offering BBQ that my tastebuds haven't experienced.

Joe's is the best BBQ in KC. Others say their the best, but Joe's is the best. They have their original location in the gas station in Prairie Village & another in Overland Park.
Their burnt ends are simply extraordinary.

It has been a long time since I've had BBQ in KC. I've had Gates and Arthur Bryant and a little place on Kaw Drive between Edwardsville and Bonner, but my favorite was Jack Stack. Expensive but damn good.

A person can be a socialist in a capitalist society, but a person is not allowed to be a capitalist in a socialist society.
