Clark vs Pistol
Caitlin Clark will soon surpass the Maravich career scoring mark. She has played 126 games to date, Pete played 84. He averaged over 44 points for his career, she is at 26 points. He had no 3-point line. If he had, it is estimated he would have averaged 67. Different time, different rules, different sex, and much different number of games. There is no comparison here and the two amazing careers should not be conflated for a myriad of reasons.

yes, comparing the two is silly and anyone with a sports brain understands that. i wish we'd stop doing it. caitlin has won her own glory without any comparison to anyone else beyond wbb.
