Another good warmup for the conference. I continue to be impressed by freshman Sides.

The addition of Sides and Walker have really transformed this team. Sanchez is also a good addition and is a surprisingly good rebounder with a nice over all skill set Lester provides depth and physicality. The added depth and competition has made some of the veterans better. Very nice team. Likely a top 10 team who should take us for a ride.

nice summary, katlander. i always enjoy it when sides and walker enter the game. but the older gals are doing splendid as well, yes, maybe because of the added internal competition. yoki seems to be healthier each game; what a baller. b12 conference games are going to be amazing. still surprised k-state lost that second one to iowa.katlander wrote: ↑December 17th, 2023, 11:52 amThe addition of Sides and Walker have really transformed this team. Why is there something rather than nothing?

If they can get Gregory going this team would be extremely hard to beat. She’s only had double digit scoring in 3 games. And hasn’t been able to connect from 3 with any consistency.

How rare was @Yokie50's performance yesterday?
According to
@herhoopstats
, Lee is the 1st player in their database to record 36+ pts w/ a .880+ FG% & 100.0 FT% in less than 25 minutes of action. #KStateWBB

I don't think Gregory is shooting in rhythm on some of her shots. There is a short hesitation that may be caused by a lack of confidence. Her form looks good. She needs to automatically take the shot when the shot presents itself. Which coach works with the 3-point shooters? This is a mental issue that can be fixed through practice and by using set plays in games that are designed to get Gregory an open 3-point shot.

I may be mistaken but didn't I read somewhere that Gabby has had inconsistency issues in her past? As in up years and down years.
