Wisconsin today.

Post by greycat68 » November 19th, 2023, 11:09 am

The weather isn’t great, but I hope everyone gets out to support this team today. If you have tickets but can’t go, give them to someone who can go. If Iowa can put 15K in the seats, I would hope we can get half that many. This will not be an easy game. They are 3-0 and we need to avoid a let down. See ya there.

Obviously, most Cat fans are at the game. I'm watching on ESPN+ from a long distance away from Manhattan. Cats are up 47 to 27 with 6:20 to go in the 3rd quarter. Lee has 12 points. Wisconsin plays very physical basketball. They have a big mobile center.

Cats are up 65 to 44 with 5 minutes to go. Lee has 4 ticky tack fouls but is still in the game

Cats win 75 to 57 against a quality opponent. 2 - 0 against the Big 10.

Good crowd. Played well till the middle of the 3rd then it kind of got sloppy. Shot the ball better. Officials were terrible.

Met the kids in Manhattan for the game. Couldn’t beat $2 tickets. Good crowd. Pretty much controlled the whole game. 4th quarter was sloppy. They were doubling Lee a lot and very physical with her. Gabby still struggling with the three and FT’s. Both Glenn’s played well.

Pick 'Em

Post by tmcats » November 20th, 2023, 12:07 pm

that was sort of a "taking care of business" game after the emotional victory at iowa city. i thought the glenn sisters played their best games of the year.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

Agree. Coach said he wanted to play a lot of players and look at a lot of different combinations. It kind of disrupted the flow sometimes. Imani Lester was sick. Hopes to have her back on Friday.
