With, or without, Cartier, I predict Seryee gets 0. I'm predicting he gets a RS.

Also keep in mind Kaosi can't play till the 2nd semester.

Can't BB Players play in a certain amount of games like college FB Players do and still maintain their redshirt year?? If not this needs to change IMO.

Say each Freshmen can play in a quarter of the games & still be a redshirt... That's only fair if FB can do it.

I have a vague recollection that it used to be something like 8 games. But it was kind of fluid. I also have a vague recollection that you had to apply for it, and the reason for the application was usually an injury, not getting beat out for playing time by Zeke.

I believe you mixing up the concept of a medical red shirt, and a regular red shirt. For the former, you have to apply for it after the year is over, and the player has to have been unable to play, or practice, for less then 30% of the season.

The later, the red shirt, can be used for any reason, at any point in their careers. For example, Mitch Lightfoot RS for KU this year and wasn't injured and wasn't a freshman, but because they didn't need another big at the time.

As for the rule in football allowing 4 games affecting basketball, it did not. In basketball, if a player plays in a single game, they can not red shirt.
