WVU guards couldn't stay in front of our guards on dribble drives last game. Their big men were defended with very aggresive help from the weak side that made it hard for them to get the ball in low.
Huggins will make adjustments. Lots will depend on whether WVU can make some outside shots to make us pay for aggressive help inside.

yep, wvu guard play has not been up to their standards. one of them is playing at alabama.

This is probably not a good game to be missing Antonio Gordon. On the other hand, KSU should play hard and work on getting better. I expect WVU to even the series in this one.

Well went from competitive game for the first 10 minutes and then a 5-6 minute lull by the cats quickly turned a one point lead to a 10 point deficit. Most the shots taken during that time being from 3. Started to drive again the last minute, but we’ll see if they can get it to a one or two possession game by half.
Offense has been pretty brutal so far today. No post offense at all.

difference between game here and there is emaw shooting. x missing free throws and treys. still, cats are in it at half. weber coaching his ass off. carti warming his on the bench. have to wonder how long he'll be in manhattan?

Only down 3 at half with just hitting 1-9 from 3 is about as good as you could hope for.
Hopefully start getting some shots to fall in the second half and steal one on the road.

He got 2 fouls in about 4 minutes and was doing the Curly Neal dribbling routine. Hopefully he comes out and plays like he’s capable in the second.
