Dai Dai Gone!!
Geez This Sucks
My conspiracy theory is there are a limited number of adults (less than 100) that have the phone numbers for these student athletes. AAU Coaches, Agents, Bag Men who are contributing this chaos. And I think they are getting a cut somewhere in the NIL or budget.

Throw in families who use their kid as a pay day and who think their kid is the greatest.WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑April 28th, 2024, 6:29 pmGeez This Sucks

I think agents are going to bastardize anything when they can make money. Several of the top rated portal players have the same agent. Every time the kid move he or she gets a new more lucrative deal and more of a cut for the agent.
I am sure Ames had a man talk with Tang and was honestly told what his future would be. Ames likely saw point guards are a hot portal commodity and decided to leave for more lucrative pastures

Didn't see that coming.

So this screams the agent has fractured the player-coach relationship.
Seems for players there is higher priority supplanting Tang’s desire and pledge to love and mentor his players to be good men for life.
Trust your agent, not your coach. The coach and player bond is what I liked about college sports. It's professional sports now.
Fans are going to quit expending emotional capital on players.

Isn’t this fun? Wheeee! Let’s not blame the agent yet. How many guards can you bring in before your returning guard(s) begin thinking:
“I guess I’m not good enough”
Or could it be Dai Dai committed without much of a payday and he knows these new additions have to be getting some good pay in order to commit.
Are we having fun yet? This whole thing is a mess. No more blood, sweat and tears for me. Next year, I think I’ll scope out some mid major that still has to do it the old fashioned way and pull for them.

Ring around the rosies, pockets full of posies.
Can't decide if this is a roller coaster or merry-go-round? All I know is that I want off.

I can’t watch the portal crap. Let me know when they start playing basketball. But for the forums sake I’m glad somebody does!
