Quick status synopsis.
Kentucky wants Scott Drew and offered him the Kentucky job.
The question is does he want it?
So does he perceive it is God's will for him to go or could this be a test from God?

I think Baylor will pony up and do their best to keep Drew in Waco. A lot of good coaches have turned the Kentucky job down, which leads me to believe, quoting Bill Shakespeare, that 'something is rotten in the state of Denmark.'

With the portal and a full NIL coffer most any school can make a run at a natty.

Yep. And Drew has already won a NC at Baylor so he showed you don't have to go to a basketball blueblood to win national championships. Besides, at Baylor, Drew is beloved by the school and the fan base. Why go to Kentucky where half of their spoiled, entitled fans are already displeased with him before he is even hired. The pressure on him to win there will be enormous. Drew may not want to put himself and his family through all of that.

Just reading some of the mountain of Twitter posts, Kentucky fans/alums/former players are doing a "John Currie at Tennessee" rebellion on Coach Drew.

Whether it is true or how many dissenters is open to debate.

Also there are some Bill Self to Kentucky posts out there.

If I was Kentucky, I'd offer Self about $15 million/year and make him say "no". They can afford it, although Kentucky may not pay his taxes for him like the dirty birds do

Setting aside what this could mean for our bball Cats and Coach Tang, I'd hate to see Drew go there. UK is easy to root against and Cal made that easier.

Kentucky will always be easy to root against.
