yep, all credit to taylor for keeping his financial house orderly, so he's able to match the hogs, and keep coach tang with his faithful. gene is a hell of an a.d..

We are so glad that Coach Tang is staying! (Sorry to the few that aren't.)
He is a great coach, and a great person.
And we believe that we will have some special seasons with Tang leading K-State!

Hallelujah... Thank you Coach Tang & AD Gene Taylor..! We're truly blessed by the people we have in our athletic department at KSU. Everyone that's been at Kansas State as an athlete or coach knows how special a place Manhattan really is... it's the people that really make the difference.
Even walking around the KSU Campus people say hello to you and treat you well. It's a polar opposite from Lawrence, Kansas and I've had friends attend both places and they all tell me the same thing.

Anyone from Arkansas we might want to nab in the portal when it opens back up? I know they had a bit of a down year, but they usually have some great athletes.

I sure hope people are not disappointed with Tamg for considering the Boss Hog position. 3 of the best things that happened to me during my work career were unexpected and required prayers and a leap of faith. 9ft3m I turned down management position so I could he in the field helping people. Management tried pretty hard to get me to change.
It appears that Gene Taylor saved the day. I hope people higher up will let Coqch Tang and Taylor lead this program. This ain't your Uncle Bruce's program anymore. Put the pedal to the medal and go full bore.. The Tang tornado rip snorting is up on the prairie.

I am glad Tang is staying. I have a feeling that he wanted to stay, so I imagine that he got some assurances first...and then there was the money. People higher up in the university need to stop picking at the scab of the Linton-Tomilin affair. It's over. Move on.

Can't blame Tang for listening, especially "if" he doesn't care for Linton. This may have been solely to make Linton sweat a little, because his butt would have been under extreme pressure if Tang left. Tang never spoke ill of Linton, but I believe this was his play instead. He knew what he was doing, and don't believe he was serious about taking the Arky job. This is my personal opinion, anyway.
