That Arkansas team was deep and so well schooled. Nolan was an amazing coach and has been a great philanthropist in his retired life.
Snyder, we lived in Hutchinson when Nolan brought in his Western Texas Junior College team for the National Junior College Tournament. That team was literally 40 minutes of Hell. Nolan intimidated EVERYONE. And do not forget his Polka Dot ties. Amazing Coach and man.
I always thought Frank Broyles and Arkansas did not deserve his amazing talents.

OU didn't make it in either. The surprise to me was Michigan State as a 9 seed with a record of 19-14. I don't follow them at all but just saw their record.
Sounds like a brown nozer move for Izzo to keep his record of making the tournament.
We are going to have to realize that we are not grandpa's league any more. Big membership leagues have to share the available slots with the mid majors. This tournament does not have the top 68 teams in the nation.
The NIT has some good teams.
Should the field.be expanded to 80 teams? I vote no, but it would have benefited us.

That dichead didn’t belong in over the Okies, but the only bad thing was that sports politics got the DH a spot…

That’s a very bold pick with Purdue’s tournament history.
Have a final four of UConn, Houston, Arizona and Tennessee. I don’t really care to pick UConn, but hard to deny how good they play. Not a lot of weakness. But I wouldn’t mind being wrong on that one.

i chose not to pick uconn only because they are so obvious that everyone has them winning it. seldom does the obvious prove out in march madness.

I've got Tennessee winning it all. Perhaps its Rick Barnes turn to win the Big Dance.

Oakland beating Kentucky is so sweet.
One blue blood bites the dust.
This game likely wrecked backets.
Best part was watching Kentucky fans cry.
