Are we sure it was not diverted taxes that paid it out?bhoovy wrote: ↑March 23rd, 2024, 4:28 pmSo ku was preseason consensus #1
Was said to have the #1 portal recruiting class.
Was the fav to win the big 12.
Hunter posted how he was given 6 figures to come play for ku so deal with it and rumors were it was between $700k and $800k.
So how’d that all work out for them? How much better of a season did they have compared to KSU? A 6th place finish (10-8) vs a 10th (8-10). Both were out of the Big12 tournament same round. Ku got two ncaa tournament games, but one being blown out.
Was it money well spent for ku????

KU has gotten blown out by 20 points or more in three of their last four games. TTU also blew them out by 29 points last month. They did not deserve that #4 seed with a 23-10 record and limping into the Tourney.bhoovy wrote: ↑March 23rd, 2024, 4:28 pmSo ku was preseason consensus #1

Seems like Self and Calipari are having trouble coping with the NIL world.
At least KU lost to a named foe.
So Baylor is remaining, Iowa State and Houston also. Any one else?

Just checked the score at the 8:00 mark. ISU shooting 3-17 (17.6%) from the field. They better get that turned around in a hurry or this will turn into another blowout. Fortunately for them, WSU is shooting just 33%.

Watching the ISU game noticed 3 things so far. The Jim Carey wanna be is still a dork, TJs shirts are still 2 sizes too small, and Lipsey is still flailing to the floor every play. You all can root for Big 12, but I hope ISU gets destroyed.

I root for all the Big 12 teams for conference respect, but if/when teams like KU, ISU, and UT lose, I don't shed any tears.
