Crazy faith, Tang’s strong arguments why K State should be in the NCAA Tournament

He makes a strong argument for why we should be in.
So I am going to come down on the side of crazy faith.
If we get in it will because the marketers like Tang and the brand he has created for KSU.
If not, the very bad losses against Nebraska, Oklahoma and Iowa State are likely a factor.
Overtime wins I see as a plus given the loss of two key people.
I think K State would go further than a bunged up KU.

We all should be rooting for ISU to win the Big 12 tournament.
This would likely result in ISU being a 2 seed.
So three of our losses would be to a 1 and 2 seed.

Yeah, KU is down two key players right now. But we have been down two key players the entire season.SCKSCat wrote: ↑March 15th, 2024, 9:06 amhttps://www.kansas.com/sports/college/b ... 19225.html

“I thought last night when we won that game against Texas (we locked up a berth), and I have several reasons why,” Tang said. “We have five Quadrant 1 wins and all five of them were against teams in the top 30 of the NET (rankings). We have six wins against the top 40 in the NET.

“The opponents that we played against in the nonconference and conference, combined, have the ninth best defense in the country and the 35th best offense in the country. So we didn’t play a powder-puff schedule. We have the No. 1 strength of schedule of all the bubble teams right now. We have the No. 1 strength of schedule of all of them. “We were 1-0 against the SEC, and that was a true road game at LSU. We went 2-0 against the Big East. We played Providence on a neutral court with Bryce Hopkins, their best team, and beat them. So we played six power conference teams in the non conference and an American team. We didn’t duck anybody.”

crazy faith is affecting coach's reasoning processes. no way this team gets an invite.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

I don't think 19 and 14 will do it. I hope I am wrong.

It is part of the job for a coach to advocate for his team.
I would be interested in hearing what the coaches for the other barely in or barely out teams would have to say. I expect that they could make good cases too.
