Never know how the ball will bounce in BB. It's a strange game of combined skill and a lot of luck.

Overrated #6 in the country. #1 floppers got schooled today. They get all the calls in Aimes and the fans still suck.
I never knew Iowa State fans were such brats at Hilton. I've never been to a BB game there, only a FB game.
Been there a few times never been treated bad even after a win. Everybody has some bad fans and the one dipshit Pharaohcat speaks of, yea he seems like real dousche. My wife would divorce if I did something like what he did and was caught on camera.

Really happy for the 'Cats -- especially the seniors on Senior Day with their families in attendance. I imagine they will need to win three in KC to have a legitimate shot at the Big Dance. At the very least, this win solidified their invite to the NIT.

Anyone know who we're likely going to play in KC?

I assume it will be either Texas or TCU, but I have not heard anything official.

I believe it will be Texas. They won and TCU lost to make them both 9-9 and UT won the H2H with TCU. So they should be the 7 and TCU the 8. I would have preferred TCU as I think Texas is playing better right now. But I believe we can beat either if we play well.

i've tried to be circumspect with these sunday takes about ioway state.

1. they're not the sixth best team in the conference - they just played like it in ames and avoided lawrence;
2. as we've said all year, k-state rolls with dng - 11 points and 16 rebounds, sixteen, mind you;
3. cam limited himself from his usual 4+ tunovers to 2 and 21 points - that's a winning combo;
4. same for king arthur - 23 and 7 - if he would just be consistent and get that every time, whew!
5. but perry plays a bad game with but 6 points added to 6 turnovers - surprising win with those point numbers;
6. colbert and mcnair just kinda filled space in this one - thankfully, the clones had similar duds, not dudes;
7. 9300 at spring break wasn't bad - it looked pretty full and load on the philco;
8. nine more rebounds but only one more turnover - tells the story, methinks;
9. glad tang and shirt-too-small treated one another with respect before and after - enough with the drama, wearying;
10. may get farmegeddon 3.0 if cats can somehow handled very talented texas in kc's game one - just need crazy faith!

The arena was pretty full, except for the student section, which isn't a surprise considering it is Spring Break. I'm sure there were a lot of them who wished they had hung around Manhattan for an extra day.

In that pic, it looks like #22 from ISU is admiring Art's shoes. :)
