Maybe I am confusing him with someone else, but wasn't he the guy who was pointing and mockingly blowing kisses to our student section and getting them riled up during our game with SDSU? That would be really interesting if he chose to come here. Maybe he is hoping KU will offer him.

I imagine that Coach Tang and staff are going to keep what they are doing close to their vest. The last couple of years word has gotten out about players very interested in Kansas State and the big lazy programs that are too stupid and low energy recruiters swooped I and snatched a player from our jaws through various means and enticements. Abmas and Tourette come to mind.

Several of the players we are linked to seem to have had academic problems or troubling personal incidents. I don't think that we want any troubled players would bring to the program. I don't want another affair like we had this past season.. Coach Weber took chances on a few players that were talented but troubled because he had trouble getting top shelf talent. I don't think we are that desperate to get dude level players. Tang has emphatically said any player he brings in has to fit the culture of his program.

You would not have had Nowell if you did not pursue players that have had issues. Nowell was dismissed mid yeat from his team in Arkansas before Weber signed him.

Pursue and vet them.

To date, 990 players have entered the portal. It took one less week this year to hit that level over last year. .Most likely the freedom for players to move more than one time without penalty has fueled this bull rush. May 1 is the cutoff date to enter the portal I think for undergraduates.

i hope so, scks. many of coach tang's issues, it seems to me, involve his transparency. during ww2 the saying was: loose lips sink ships. setting expectations is a large part of coach's job.
