I hope DNG comes back next year along with Colbert, Carter & Kaluma. Adding back in the freshmen we have too + David Castillo and you have a good group to work with, pending any veteran portal transfers.WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑March 13th, 2024, 8:59 pmhttps://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... /401625418
Out rebounded them 39 to 32
10 to 7 on Turn overs - when we don't turn it over we are competitive with anyone.

How about Tylor Perry? 21 points, 3-4 from the 3 point line, and 10-10 from the FT line!WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑March 13th, 2024, 8:59 pmhttps://www.espn.com/mens-college-baske ... /401625418

Not to be a snob old ref but
The tackle foul on Tyler was called "Intentional". When the official crosses both forearms into an "X" that is the sign for intentional - two shots and the ball.
Seldom is that call made at the end of a game when the team behind is attempting to extend the game. My personal opinion is if the defender does not make a play on the ball and just grabs the offensive player an "Intentional Foul" should be called. Same with the "Hack A Shaq", when a player not possessing the ball is grabbed with the intent to make him/her shoot free throws an "Intentional Foul" should be called.
End of Rant

I think this team finally has an identity:
"Fight hard for 40. "
Sometimes for 45 or 50.
Just plan on a fight every night. Embrace the fight! Relish in it!

I just got through watching the postgame presser. Apparently, Commissioner Yormark gave Coach Tang a hug after the game. He was probably happy that we knocked off Texas.

That was a traditional make up call for the blown call on DG where the TX player pushed DG, but they called the foul on DG. That DG call was a potential game changer and the ref knew they blew it, so when an opportunity to legitimately even things up, he did.WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑March 13th, 2024, 9:22 pmNot to be a snob old ref but

I do not know if this has been mentioned, but having Dai Dai being a scoring threat reduces the double team on Perry when he crosses half court.
