Should have never come down to the last shot to be honest. Once the team learns how to take care of the ball and have better shot selection they will win these games. Now, it's been a problem all season so I don't see any reason to believe it will get fixed. We are what we are. Lets hope we win enough to get NIT invite

Well finally get home to watch this......
That will pretty much seal the deal. Maybe they can grab a few more wins and get into NIT.
First game I've been able to watch. What I saw I wouldn't say was NCAA tourney worthy, but maybe this was just an ugly game.
Oh well

Definitely an NIT team at best, 14 turnovers, outrebounded by 10…and 1-15 from three, are you kidding me!!! and this is at HOME

I could see this team winning a surprise game or two - maybe one of them at KU. I think 9 - 9 would do it.

Actually, that was one of their better games. Only had 14 turnovers!DeereCatFan wrote: ↑February 17th, 2024, 2:32 pmWell finally get home to watch this......

Hope they don’t go to the NIT (assuming they are even considered for it). Would just be more of the same unwatchable crap. The NIT used to be a building block experience for the next season, but with NIL and the transfer portal, most of these guys will be gone next year anyway.
Have to get a true point guard and a big that can catch, rebound and score with some level of consistency, or will continue with this same level of play.

I never lose hope, but from what I've seen recently this team just can't get over the hump. Turnovers -- silly ones -- continue to kill our chances.
I give the Horny Frogs credit for a really tough defense today. It was tough enough that the Cats couldn't will their way around it.
