KU lost their huge recruiting advantage of paying players under the table when NIL happened. Sure, they are still buying and paying players and it’s big money. But now so is everyone else. KU is going to have to increase their NIL/recruiting budget to get the same high level players they used to. And to fill out their roster. Right now they have no depth.

this also puts in question that it's about x's and o's. the legendary bill self. pfft! without players, he's just another bench dude. coaching is about talent first. driving a mustang is much different than a model T.

ku fans are being merciless on their point guard today, harris. nothing worse than being the best player on a losing blue blood.

Just looking at the scores of the games today, the teams that played last night are struggling against the fresher teams. Hopefully, we won't suffer the same fate tonight.

This has me worried. We need to keep it close and adrenalin can take us home.

if there's anything i don't question it is the fitness of our athletes for a second game, now the third will be a challenge. more important though, shut down iowa state's defensive pressure by taking care of the ball and taking it to the goal, dai dai ames. he's all over X today. the kid will be full of confidence coming into this one against their excellent point, lipsey. we'll see if our freshman has turned sophomore now - coach mcquire used to moan on about frosh.

I wonder if Coach will sprinkle in more subs early on to keep our starters fresher for late in the game. It's nice that we have the ability to go deep into our bench without a huge drop-off in talent.

A bubble just burst. Dayton goes down in the A10 tournament so they will now get two bids as Dayton will be in.
