I remember that. I also remember his players one year in Ahearn coming out of the locker room, onto the floor intentionally squeaking their shoes during the National Anthem. Our fans hissed at them for being disrespectful, but Tubbs' players thought it was funny. It has been reported that former LSU coach Dale Brown charted every shot Maravich scored and concluded that, if his shots from three-point range had been counted as three points, Maravich's average would have totaled 57 points per game and 12 three-pointers per game (instead of the 44 per game he actually averaged).
