Thanks,
Should be nothing but positive from this award. Maybe a little boost to recruiting.
Also, along with Tommy Lloyd it shows that long term assistants at high level programs deserve consideration for top spots if they have the right stuff.

I hope the KU fans hate that the award named for their former coach went to the coach of KSU. Has it ever happened before?

Short interview with Tang. Gives a lot of credit to others for the success this year. Seems far from ego centric as some may like to believe.

When Coach Tang was introduced a year ago, he said he would elevate our program and it wouldn't take long. Promise fulfilled.

So very well deserved - couldn't be happier for him, for the team and staff, and for our fans. The future of K-State basketball is bright!

Validates all of who have expressed their opinions that he is a very good coach.
He did elevate the program.
Recruited good players a.k.a., dudes.
Tang and his staff helped these players become better players and young men.
He marketed our brand. It is estimated that over 2 billion people watched all of our Tournament games.
Fans are packing the Bram again.
The award is well deserved, but it took everyone rallying behind Tang for him to have this success.....staff, players, donors, fans and the administration all should be applauded.
