When he was not injured, he was one of the best (if not the best) players in the B-12, it is not surprising that he is a good player at the NBA level!

Dean has made himself a name and is now a part of NBA history. Part of the fraternity. A household name among NBA fans and the majority of Americans with an IQ over 60. Pretty cool for a kid from the middle of Kansas.

Markquis Nowell and Keyontae Johnson, who both played a key role in K-State’s 2023 Elite 8 run, were selected to the NBA’s G League “Up Next” game.

The G League (Gatorade League) is essentially minor leagues for the NBA. The “Up Next” game features a cast of 28 All-Stars from the G League level that will play a game during the NBA’s All-Star weekend in Indianapolis.

Ron Baker's "HIM" was Michael Beasley.

Frank was correct. KSU should have got Ron Baker.

K-State with a decent history of guys carving out pretty long NBA careers, being good guys on and off court. Star level- Mitch, Ro, Boozer. Long careers from Mike Evans and Ed Nealy who were both good role players nice guys. Chuckie Williams had personality clash with Bill Fitch in Cleveland for non basketball reasons or he too might have had a long career.

Dean with 20 points in the 4th quarter to bring the Cavs back from 18 down to beat the best team in the NBA. The Celtics.

Actually down 22 points with 9 minutes left.
