Wally World execs and owners have as deep a pockets as any if they decide to "invest" in Arky sports.
^^This^^.....I live here, there is a boat load of $$ here in Northwest Arkansas. Walmart, Tyson Foods, and JB Hunt corporate offices all within about 20 miles of each other. It all depends what they want to invest in.

Maybe. But the fact that SMU went to their 10 biggest donors and got them to pony up (no pun intended) $1 billion for them to make the move to the ACC, since they agreed to the terms of not taking any tv revenue for like 8 or 9 years to be a part of the ACC, which probably won’t be around in a few years. So if they’re willing to put up that kind of money to be a part of a more superior conference, I’m sure they’ll plop down more to try and be as competitive in that new conference as they can be. And going after a higher profile coach would likely be on the agenda. Along with big NIL $$ to buy the best players they can.
President Bush is an SMU guy or at least fan. Somehow (He is close friends with Dusty Baker and a few other baseball guys) he and Eric Musselman seem like an odd pairing

Dusty May is leaving FAU for Michigan.
At least he will not disgrace his program like Howard did.
Louisville is the next "plum job", supposedly, to be filled.
I wonder if the Pitino escort service is still going.

Looks like WVU has their new coach. Drake's Darian DeVries.

And if the ACC falls apart in the near future, those guys might be a bit upset.

Just think... if SMU could've just waited a few decades, and then they could have paid their players when it was legal. They'd never would've had their program shut down!! :D

Sources: Rice is expected to hire former SMU coach Rob Lanier as the school’s new coach. He’s brought two different programs to the NCAA Tournament while coach at Siena and Georgia State.

Pete Thamel
@PeteThamel
Washington State coach Kyle Smith has accepted the job at Stanford, sources tell me and
@jeffborzello
. He led Washington State to a 25-10 record this year and the school’s first NCAA bid since 2008. He’s the former head coach at San Francisco and Columbia.

surprising to me that former uw coach mike hopkins, the long time syracuse assistant, failed to bring a winning team to seattle. i thought at the time he was a solid hire.

sprinkle's name along with wvu's new coach, drake's devies, had been linked to oSu. will be interesting to see who the pokes now can pull to stillwater.

Matt Norlander
@MattNorlander
Utah State coach Danny Sprinkle has agreed to become the next coach at the University of Washington, source confirms to
@CBSSports
. Hat tip to
@GoodmanHoops
with the first report here. Sprinkle was also chased heavily by Vanderbilt in the past few days.
