Louisville is targeting Charleston's Pat Kelsey as its next head coach, sources told ESPN on Wednesday.

Kelsey is coming off his second consecutive NCAA tournament appearance, leading Charleston to back-to-back CAA regular-season and tournament championships. He brings a career 261-122 record over 12 seasons as a head coach at Charleston and Winthrop.

The Cougars went 31-4 during the 2022-23 season, winning 21 of their first 22 games. They took eventual national runner-up San Diego State to the wire in the first round of the NCAA tournament before falling.

. No deal is imminent. There’s multiple candidates, with Enfield expected to top the list.

louisville has their coach, not huggs. see above post. oSu is still in the hunt along with smu, which is after usc's andy enfield. oSu may end up with indiana state or western kentucky's shiny object. why they didn't take bryce drew or steve alford to stillwater escapes me. alford has pretty much taken his name out of the portal. perhaps he's tired of moving?

Andy Enfield has officially accepted the SMU job.

Do with that information what you will.

Haven't seen it reported elsewhere, but if true, would set up a WILD set of dominoes on the coaching Carousel

As he is with every opening, Eric Musselman is in on the USC job. There may be some truth to it. Musselman is married to a sports tv lady (She used to work in KC and is easy on the eyes) and she is said not be a huge fan of all things Arkansas. Musselman played at San Diego and is in Southern California a lot. If he leaves Arkansas, I would expect Tang to be prominently mentioned for the opening. Arkansas has had a pretty solid program for close to 50 years and Nolan proved elite status is possible. Tang would be a great cultural fit (religious aspect and a strong African American presence) in NW Arkansas. Hope I'm wrong!

CORRECT LINK: #UCF has offered men's basketball coach Johnny Dawkins a contract extension. Terms are still being finalized, but it ends weeks of speculation on his job status.

tm,
You remember the BYU fiasco? Dawn just couldn't accept the unfounded racist claims involving BYU, and the Duke volleyball player. Not sure where you are going with the "irony 101".
we should all take a break from using the racism card particularly against perceived racism. i grow weary of everything being made about race rather than performance.
I couldn't agree more about the abuse by race hustlers, and I have to assume you have heard Dawn speak, so, you would then know where I am coming from.
