TTU has to win out against KSU and @ UT after their 33-31 loss to TCU at home. Their backs are against the wall, but that loss may have also been a bit deflating given they had the ball with 2:30 left with a chance to win the game, but fumbled it on the very first play of that drive. Kind of similar to KSU throwing a INT with a chance to win it, but they weren't even near the goal line.
And we got rid of Snyder for this? Really??

This is why they have to actually play the games.tmcats
this behoovy diatribe is "cult of frank" level. i haven't seen one since that group was in meeting other places years ago. actually, i didn't waste time reading the thread nor more than a couple sentences of the opening to come to that conclusion.
skylar doesn't underthrow that last pass, k-state wins and this board is all shine rather than shade. deep breath now, boys before the next attack. and oh, be sure to pick up one of those cute 'cats' helmets. i'm confident they'll be discounted.
On any given game day, piles of guano can/will happen.

Time for bhoovy to either pull his head out of his/her AZZ or move on to a different team.
May I suggest UTEP. Then you can scream before/after every game to your heart's delight and feel justified.

Right because I can’t have an opinion? It’s just mob rules, right? I’m not the one calling players and/or coaches of any of our teams profane names. Or even other posters for that matter. I just chose to post my frustrations with what I had seen the previous two weeks. And some also seem to miss where included in the post that I hope Klieman proves me wrong.
I actually like the guy. Like listening to his post games. But still not sold he was the best hire. My opinion.
Guess I didn’t read the rules on this board that everyone must share the same opinions. I’ll be careful not to post unless my thoughts and opinions match up perfectly.
And this particular response I’m replying to is coming from someone who post things many can’t even decipher what he’s trying to say and has been been belligerent.
Um okay.

I agree with bhoovy. I am also skeptical. While I want HCK to succeed, I do not know whether beating OU was a fluke anymore than Prince beating Texas. Although HCK did beat KU which is the baseline to continue coaching at KState. I will wait a season or two before I pass judgment, until I see what he does with the next two recruiting classes. Right now he is winning with a core of seasoned HCBS’s players.bhoovy wrote: ↑November 26th, 2019, 2:36 pmRight because I can’t have an opinion? It’s just mob rules, right? We shall see. I do agree that CK is a better fit than Prince.

major, who would have been a better hire? both you guys bring negative commentaries without a shred of light about how it could have been improved.

At the press conference someone said to coach Klieman that he's the winningest first year coach in the big 12. My thought is Lincoln Riley? Anyway, I'm increasingly thinking we got a very good coach.

There's no way to know who would have done better or not. IIRC, Major wanted Leavitt, who I also liked. He was proven, knew what it takes to win at KSU, etc. The problem is, he's +10 years older than HCCK and who knows how long he would have been around - or if he has adapted to the current landscape of college football. Everyone knows JL can coach xs and Os.
I've seen enough from HCCK to know he knows how to coach. The next two years may take some time to build the players along both lines of scrimmage, which could hinder our record some. But To even put Chris Klieman in the same sentence or paragraph with Ron Prince shows football ignorance, and maybe borderline stupidity - even if trying to make some point. If you can't tell the difference in approach to football between Chris Klieman and Ron Prince, well God help ya.
