I'll go ahead and just say we should probably burn all the alternates....unis, helmets, you name it.....throw it all in a pile and torch it. I'm not particularly superstitious, but good lord have we been utterly horrendous when we've worn any kind of "alternates".

PLEASE, never wear those helmets and that logo EVER AGAIN. Bad jiu jiu all the way around.

Stop wearing anything other than Powercat and tarditional uni's. This was probably the easiest game on the B12 schedule and we lost. Just ridiculous. Burn all that gear to the ground and never let it see the light of day ever again.

Well said. The 1980s were such good years for KSU.
well, that's true. if you don't count 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986. 1987, 1988.

didn't we hire Bill in 1989?

(just supporting the point No8)
Yea, 1982 was fun and then the team decided not to show up for the bowl game which everybody was waiting for all of their life. Besides a few odd wins like against a ranked Iowa State team perhaps in 1981 or 1983 and against Oklahoma State in Stillwater you can basically forget about the 1980s because Bill was no sure deal yet.

I'm not against new alternative uniforms, but add them at the beginning of the season. My biggest issues was the timing, it became a significant distraction, IMHO, during the prep week for the game.
