Shortly after, Pauls from Emporia committed to Iowa State.kinsleycat wrote: ↑April 14th, 2019, 5:11 pmI'm not sure if we had much of a chance, but Turner Corcoran has committed to Nebraska. Good looking o-lineman from Lawrence. At least he didn't go to KU or OU.

Pauls is the bigger loss, as we had a fair chance of signing him.. so definitely a disappointment to see him go to ISU. Corcoran is always headed somewhere else. 2020 is a class with a lot of KS talent, and so far we're not fairing too well with just 1 commit and several others off the board.opcat7755 wrote: ↑April 15th, 2019, 11:34 amShortly after, Pauls from Emporia committed to Iowa State.kinsleycat wrote: ↑April 14th, 2019, 5:11 pmI'm not sure if we had much of a chance, but Turner Corcoran has committed to Nebraska. Kleiman is still an unknown in his new circles. I think what he gets next year will be a better indication as to what we can expect.

Agreed. I love the positive energy, but it'll likely take a couple of cycles.hilltopwildcat wrote: ↑April 15th, 2019, 6:15 pmKleiman is still an unknown in his new circles. I think what he gets next year will be a better indication as to what we can expect.

It will take one or two seasons to fully implement his offense and defense. Once he gets the type of athletes his style of ball needs, I think the Cats will be successful.

I'm not too concerned at this point. There is still a LONG way to go before signing day. We should be fine. Regarding Pauls, it looks Iowa might have been his second choice had he not committed to ISU. It makes me wonder if Pauls or his family have some connection to the state of Iowa.KsJoey wrote: ↑April 15th, 2019, 12:44 pmPauls is the bigger loss, as we had a fair chance of signing him.. so definitely a disappointment to see him go to ISU. There is also plenty of time for kids to flip their commitments between now and December. We will get our fair share of solid commits, especially if we have a decent season in 2019.

Made its own thread, but K-State added a 2019 RB.
Also noticed that 247sports must have been listening as they have added transfer rankings into classes. For example, Gilbert got a .8284 out of HS, but a .8600 as a transfer and would be the 5th best player in the 2019 class.

Deuce Vaughn will be tough to keep but CK is utilizing his prior NDS highlights to great advantage. He will have some KSU highlights to work from next year, like a win at MSU that will turn recruits heads!
