NEWS: Maize (Kansas) WR Bryson Hayes commits to #Nebraska. 🌽

I don’t know where we actually stood with him but would have thought being a teammate of Avery we’d have been in the running.

I see we picked up a new commit. Justin Wolf, a TE from Wagner. I'm a little surprised with that since I thought we were in good shape with TEs. It looks like he will have only one year of eligibility. Welcome Justin!

Will we get Dylan Edwards since he is leaving Colorado.
I hope he would come to K State

Well K-State has a pretty good track record with smaller backs.
Hoping he give the Cats a look, but I suspect high NIL will be required.

I wonder if there are any hard feelings between Edwards and the coaching staff since he de-committed from us for ND?

Recruiting is strictly a business. Especially in this day and age.

It will be interesting to see if he comes back. Even if recruiting is a business, there are still going to be emotions involved on both sides. I imagine things were said when Edwards left the first time.

He seems to be a trouble maker. My opinion is we would take him if Avery wants him and the NIL is worth it.

I don’t know that he’s a trouble maker. Never heard any of that while he was at Derby. But I do think he’s a kid with a bit of an inflated ego. It’s one thing to be confident in your ability and let your play do your talking for you. But another to go around trying to tell everyone how good you are, even if you are really good.

The saying it ain’t bragging if it’s true is a complete lie. It’s bragging regardless of if you’re good or not. It’s just also a lie if you’re not that good.

I for one wouldn’t mind seeing us pursue him. No doubt he’s talented and has some elite speed. We don’t have anyone behind Giddens with any meaning college snaps. Most have none. Dylan also has experience and a connection with our star QB. I’m all for giving it a try. It can’t be worse than Bryce Brown.
