Again, these talking heads need to STFU when they don't know what to talk about. His arm length was never an issue when he went up against Bama in the bowl game 2 years ago. His arm length wasn't an issue going up against the 2 Texas DTs that were already taken in the draft, one being an early first round pick and the other an early round 2 pick. Its never been an issue for him. How about mentioning that he played something like ~1500 consecutive snaps without giving up a sack? I don't recall the exact stat number but it was something ridiculous in terms of number of consecutive snaps without allowing a sack. Oh, and that includes multiple games against Texas, OU, and also Alabama and LSU. So again, they need to STFU. Rant over...WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑April 26th, 2024, 9:32 pmESPN complaining about short arms on Cooper. Picky Picky Picky
Ok, editing to get the stats right for Coop. only 1 sack allowed in his last 42 games, Only allowed 5 sacks in his entire college career with 4 of them being as a RS freshman out of a total of 1488 pass blocking snaps. Only 1 sack allowed in the last 1251 pass blocking snaps. Did that when playing Texas 4 times, OU 4 times, and bowl games against Bama, LSU, and NC State. But ya, the guys got short arms.......dickwads

He's already on a first-name basis with Jerry Jones. Love it! So happy for Cooper.WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑April 26th, 2024, 10:52 pmhttps://twitter.com/i/status/1784050773434765721

Betcha Ben hauls in some TDs this season for sure. Great news for Ben Sinnott. Congrats!WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑April 26th, 2024, 7:59 pmESPN said they were going to pick a TE. They were very complimentary of his performance at the Combine.
Commanders do not have a TE on the team that has ever caught a NFL Touchdown.
Congratulations Ben!!

I understand that conventional wisdom says that NFL tackles must have long arms. But there are exceptions. The fact that Cooper became a dominant player in the Big 12 as a tackle apparently is not considered important. I was hoping the Chiefs would take a chance on him and I bet he would have been better this year at tackle then anyone now on their team. What Cooper accomplished in college and all the intangibles surrounding him are worth a lot. He can do the job! I think the Cowboys got a great player on the cheap

KC landed this BYU OL who might be somewhat gifted.

I know Andy Reed has done a very good job with the draft, and trading up to get Mahomes has to be the greatest move in KC history, and one of the best moves in the history of the NFL. He has been able to pull many rabbits out of the hat to enable to keep KC a top team. Despite that he has also not been great in some cases, especially in the early rounds. Edwards-Helaire is one example.
I understand them trading up to get Worthy, a very good player with fantastic speed. Faster than Tyreek. But he just doesn't seem that fast. With that speed he should have been a highlight reel in college. I think he will do well in Andy's offense but he just doesn't seem to run away from defenders like he should. He is shown as 5-11 and 165. He ran 4.21 at the combine, the fastest ever. Maybe the pads slow him down a little. Maybe 10 pounds of muscle would help him play faster.
The move that has me shaking my head is giving up draft capital to move up one spot to get developmental left tackle Kingsley Suamaiaia from BYU. I guess they were afraid San Fran was going to take him, otherwise why trade? They must have really wanted him. It will be interesting to see how fast he gets on the field. If these 2 guys are very good right away Veatch and Reed have set the Chiefs up for this year and for years to come.
