Chili Davis leaving
After a one year stop at K-State he's headed to the Rams. Special Teams did not exactly kick ass this season, so I'd say not a massive loss unless he's a great evaluator of talent. Thoughts??

I'm just glad it was not one of our coordinators or position coaches. Best wishes for success for him, though.

Would be an upgrade with Sean, certainly. I don't know if he'd be willing to return to KSU if offered. I guess the KSU HC & AD might want to reach out and have a discussion. A talk with Bill would be wise as well. Sean's a KSU alum, and he wouldn't mind being in Manhattan where Papa Snyder can regularly see his grandkids.
I'm not sure what exactly went down with Sean's departure, but there may be some ruffled feathers or other issues that we don't know about.

I really don't think there were a lot of problems that caused him to leave. At the time he was seeking an on field coaching spot. He got that at USC and then Illinois. Nowadays it seems like on field coaching spots for special teams are rare and getting less common. It would be crazy to not explore the option of having him on staff if he interested. Sean himself has grandkids and I've seen him out and about with them.
