Any late signees?
Not a peep anywhere about the Cats getting any new FB recruits on board in the late signing period. Did we not sign anyone?

I haven't seen anything, either. I'm guessing we didn't sign anyone. Remember when the February signing day was such a big deal? Now, with the early signing period, February is just an afterthought in comparison.

Seems like the February period has kind of gone to being when the Preferred walk-on's get their moment to sign. That is about all I saw as far as signee's was some of the PWO's signing.
Looks like this time of the year is 100% focused on next years class with an eye on the post spring ball portal.

February signing day is dead, with the early Dec signing day & portal transfers. Most of the recruits are already inked by Dec anyway, other than walk-ons, as other folks mentioned.

i can tell there's a lot of recruiting activity going on here in mhk. the stadium lights and sound system is on. coaches stalls filled. indoor practice facility aglow.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

I heard the other day that the kid from Goodland is a strong possibility to commit, but after basketball is over.

Not a late signee but I really like the cephas signing..... Watched film on his time at P-State and K-State. It was like 2 different players. As highly reguarded as Drew Allar was he doesn't impress me they had no real WR's, It was a stagnant offense. At kent he made some absolutely ridiculous catches. Avery will make him better, and vice versa.

Dante is also back with his coach from Kent State, where he had success. I've heard that he also has very good speed. I'm looking forward to seeing him play next fall, not to mention what he does this spring.privyet wrote: ↑February 11th, 2024, 2:29 pmNot a late signee but I really like the cephas signing.....
