Tyler restructured his contract and will stay in Seattle. It sounds like he is taking a cut relative to the dollars on the end of his previous contract.

Sources: #Commanders are re-signing offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas to a one-year deal worth up to $4 million.
Ten-year vet has started 31 games for Washington the last four seasons.

Mr Lucas has maximized his enormous physical size to make a good career, that will include a nice pension.

I met Cornelius years ago on campus. Was in line behind him at the Subway in the Union. I was on lunch break from doing engineering scholarship interviews for my company. The line was very long. I didn't want to assume just because of his size that he was a football player, however, he had a bowl emblem on his backpack. So, I say "So, you play football". He looked down at me and said, No, I play golf. I replied - do they make clubs long enough for someone as tall as you? He laughed and we chatted. He asked what I was doing on campus. Said he would have liked to major in engineering but had to change his major due to the time commitment for football. We were getting ready to play OU that weekend - I wished him luck. Told him I lived in Oklahoma and really, really wanted to beat them. He was a very polite, engaging (and large) young man. I enjoyed meeting him and was happy to see him get to play in the NFL.

She better be, just saying.
Whitehair and Risner are both on the free agent market. Both are veterans with starting experience and can play several positions along the line. You’d think a team would value guys like that even as backups. The Chiefs are looking for a guy like that, although they tend to look for younger guys on the vet minimum. Who knows.

One of the hundreds of mock drafts has Coop going in the second round to the Chiefs. That’s much more encouraging than some that have him going in the 4th or 5th.
Also Ben Sinnott was in for a visit with the Chiefs. The speculation was he’s a day 3 pick which means 4th round.
I admit to wearing purple colored glasses but Sinnott seems more like round 2 or 3. And Coop seems like round 2.
