So you are a Michigan fan?

FSU getting boat raced so it sure appears the committee leaving them out was the right call.

Georgia 42 FSU 3 - Halftime
That just destroys the FSU complaints. At least TCU had the Michigan win to defend themselves with.

No it doesn’t. They had several key opt outs and I’m sure are about as motivated to play as our guys were back in 98 after falling to the Alamo Bowl to play Purdue. At least we controlled our own destiny. They had it taken from them.WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑December 30th, 2023, 5:53 pmGeorgia 42 FSU 3 - Halftime

BH, you have a point and I know FSU had lots of opt outs, but you have to be close to competitive.bhoovy wrote: ↑December 30th, 2023, 6:04 pmNo it doesn’t. 56 to 3 after 3 quarters. I am sure it was the opt outs.
Georgia with 571 yards through 3 quarters, but the opt outs. Did the entire defense and offense opt out?

I'd blame it more on having a case of the fukits, but if I were them I would have wanted to send a message they took the wrong team.

Of note, FSU had all their key skill players on offense opt out for the NFL or injury (#1 QB was injured) along with both CBs on defense and an edge rusher. Could you imagine your #1QB being injured, the next 3 QBs on the roster going into the transfer portal, having your top 2 WRs opt out for NFL draft, and your #1 RB opt out for NFL draft? Your offense would be decimated. Georgia had 2 key players opt out for the NFL draft (TE and OT). Georgia had all other key skill players available except for maybe one RB that was injured (but Georgia likely has 6 5* RBs on their roster).
