I'll always be a fan of Will, but for the life of me, I just can't root for the elitist "THE" ohio state university.

My low opinion of tosu goes way back to the early days of my career.

I totally agree with TC#3. I will actively root for Will but also root against tosu. What gives them to right to claim that they are "the" anything? Their arrogance is disgusting!

I wish Will all the best but was disappointed in his overall performance last season. Part of the reason for my disappointment may be Coach Klieman's claim that Will was the most improved player in the Big 12. I am not sure he was as good as in the prior year. He seems to struggle with confidence and often does not perform at or near his best until his job is at risk. I think he is a good QB but will need to correct some mental shortcomings before being a major contributor at the next level. His performance at OSU will be a good test to determine if he is making progress.

I can't quantify that Will was the mosty improved payer in the BIG12 last year one way or the other. He had Deuce Vaughn in 2022 which greatly helped his development and basically this year all he really had was Ben and Phillip... There just weren't many options there and he did a fairly good job with what he had. Many of his interceptions were forced throws into tight spots. It was really time for Will to go because it's Avery's time now and staying would have been an awkward position for him to be in. If not for OSU iIdefinitely think he would have gone pro.... but when you are handed the keys to a lambourghini (He will have to earn it but I fully expect he will be QB1 there, even with a loaded and talented roster) then you got to take it.... The development alone will be worth it. The skies the limit for him..... BTW, check out utube podcast titled "Tribute to Will Howard". It's a moving 2 minute segment, especially when he looks back at the field for the last time.

fans write some interesting and often weird posts about former players and coaches who brought them championships with honor.

Very hard for me to take too many shots at Will with how he battled and absolutely put it on the line for KState every single game this year. He should not have been on the field against Mizzou because his leg was hurting but he gutted it out and gave us his all. Could have really been a big a-hole when Avery started sharing snaps in the middle of the year, many guys would have been in that situation, but stayed the course and led us to victory over our rival and he did everything he could to beat Iowa State, just a horrible defensive effort.

Of course he is not perfect. No QB is perfect. Mahomes may very well be the best to ever play the game and he turned the ball over twice in 7 seconds for TD's against the Raiders. QB's make mistakes, just like every other position.

Will was pretty dang good as a senior. Perfect, of course not, but pretty dang good. He will always have my utmost respect.

Will is a character guy. Playing or not, he makes that locker room better. That is still valued by coaches today, and you don't waste NIL money on guys that have one year of eligibility. I will be an OSU fan for one season because of Mr. Howard.

Say what you will, I think Will IS a legit Heisman candidate if on the right team with the right guys around. Most importantly the right QB coach to refine his skills. His only issue holding him back is between his ears.
Ohio State will be really good in 2024 as will Oregon in the new B10
Looking for Michigan (graduate 42 guys) to take a step back as will Washington
If we win the B12 we could Will and the Buckeyes in the post season

since he signed with ohio state, i have had this outragious take that they will face off in the cfp.
