I feel the same way. Based upon Coach Klieman's comments regarding Will's improvement I was hoping he would be on the Heisman short list last year. But he seemed haunted by consistency issues. He is going to have to keep his head in the game and totally believe in himself through the ups and downs. He went through a lot while here and showed that he is a team player and high character guy. But, does he have what it takes to be great. I think that is yet to be determined. He cannot relax. He has to bring it every week. I am not sure what to expect but I will cheer for OSU as long as he is the guy.
The Portal and Will Howard, is he looking for the best opportunity to gain 'NFL status'?

From watching Will all these years I believe he could be a really good passer with the right QB coach (Colin was good) and surrounding cast. Say what you want about Bill O'brien but he is the best of the best when it comes to getting the most out of his players. He has been both a college and pro HC. NFL draft buzz has Will as a good passer at all (3) levels and that's what I'd like to see out of him, and less swing passes. He will be throwing medium to long passes to an insanely talented WR room with Emeka Egbuka leading the way. This is what he needs to do to improve his draft stock and I think he will be successful. He also has Ryan Day who is great at QB development also.

Straight from the horses mouth. Will Howard unfiltered press conference as a Buckeye. Totally honest as one would expect from Will. Says he was told by the NFL community he was in the 3rd to 6th round if he came out this year. Many other interesting tidbits.

It was classic Will. But there were some, I am guessing Ohio State folks, in the comments that have already deemed him a failure. It reminded me of why I borderline hate the Big10. It would be hard to beat the Big10 in any pompous ass competition.tmcats wrote: ↑February 1st, 2024, 6:22 pmwazucat wrote: ↑February 1st, 2024, 5:50 pmhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnO429R453s

A person can be a socialist in a capitalist society, but a person is not allowed to be a capitalist in a socialist society.

Thanks for posting TM. Good interview from a good guy. Probably a hard line to balance between past and present teams and not dis one or the other. Hope he does well, not osu.
Spot I went over that borderline the minute I moved into Quad Cities in 2000. And it actually got worse once i relocated to Des Moines area. Iowa fans are insufferable. Much like corn fans when i lived in Omaha when they were decent. The b1g is imho twice as arrogant as sec. And even the crap teams which would be everybody outside of Michigan, ohio st and penn st are arrogant as hell.

chuckling, i can hardly see will doing well but ohio state failing. once again, my grand projection is that will meets avery in the cfp. that would complete the loop in a magnificent way.

Seeing that Chip Kelly is Ohio State's new OC is an absolute HR for Will..... Will was really good when he had Deuce in 2022 and now with those 2 RB's (forget their names) who are widely considered among the best in CFB, man, that really opens it up... with 2nd and 3 or 4 that really gives Will the chance to throw over the top to some really good receivers. We'll see how good and accurate he can be...
Fan duel odds had Will Howard in 4th place to win the Heisman, behind only Carson Beck, Quinn Ewers, and Dillon Gabriel. If he has a big year, I think he will. I only hope for the best, especially this young man, who fought hard for the wildcats and helped us win a title.
