Wow, that's nuts. Not good at all.
A person can be a socialist in a capitalist society, but a person is not allowed to be a capitalist in a socialist society.

The contradicting points in the article a) Dekkers is not going through Fall Practice b) Dekkers was expected to be starting QB this Fall.
The "account was in my name, but I never used it. All my friends and family placed the bets" is a lousy defense. $2799 is pretty small to ruin your college career.

Lousy defense, for sure. BUT, even if that’s the case, what information did his “family” have to cause them to bet Dekker’s team? Did he just throw his “family” under the bus?WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑August 1st, 2023, 8:22 pmThe contradicting points in the article a) Dekkers is not going through Fall Practice b) Dekkers was expected to be starting QB this Fall.

What would the coach have to do with it?

A lack of institutional control is found when the Committee on Infractions determines that major violations occurred and the institution failed to display: Adequate compliance measures.
Win the dang day!
