tmcats: a now deceased good-guy-jayhawk pharmacist from wichita labeled "john brown" said one day to "catsrule": your truly mighty cats ...

from then on, i switched handles to what most wrongly believe today is meant as short for "tomcats."

Mine came from the 2003 Big 13 championship game. One of Gary Danielson’s keys to a possible KState win was “Purple On (Jason ) White.” The Cats listened.

mine is because I have made a conscious decision against the anonymity provided by message boards. In general, I prefer my boards like mandolincafe where everyone basically uses their real name

Even though I grew up in Kansas, I spent the past 28 years living in St. Louis. So when I started posting on message boards years ago, my handle naturally had to do with me being a Wildcat fan living in St. Louis. I just moved back to Kansas a few weeks ago, but I will probably keep my handle.

I moved to The Tampa metro 27 years ago. But this small town country boy from Kansas needed more elbow room so I moved north to what Floridians call the Nature Coast.
