I would imagine that almost all of those appearances have been since 1990.

I agree. I would bet that the numbers from 1990 put us higher on this list.

BYU was really good in the 1980s. If you start the list at 1990, I bet we are ahead of them.

I don't really know how good WVU and OSU were in the 1980s. OSU had Barry Sanders for a couple years that decade, so probably a few top 25 appearances.

i was surprised at numbers one and two on the list. i imagine everyone else was as well.
