It's impossible to know if King Felix is the best DL in KSU history. But, there's no denying he's among the best and near the top.
I think of Darren Howard as perhaps being his equal.

No shot at 1st round now, imo. He needed to show measurables/raw athleticism for "potential to improve at the next level". His arm length was average for pass rushers, and now with not showing how he measures athletically, I don't think he gets taken until late 2nd or possibly 3rd round.

i see wyatt hubert is attempting a comeback. i believe felix would have benefited greatly from his senior year on campus. we'll see how it turns out for him. josh freeman got $30 million leaving early. can't see felix sniffing that kind of number.
Why is there something rather than nothing?

I still think he needed another year at KSU. Leaving early is a mistake IMHO. Could he still make it? Absolutely. I also think he's the best we've ever had in terms of raw talent. Still needs more S&C and technique development IMO. Should have stayed 1 more year. Had he stayed 1 more year with good S&C development and more time with the program, I bet he would be a for certain 1st rounder. Now, I bet he's a 3rd rounder.

Today, we asked 3 Big 12 offensive tackles which player they faced in an individual matchup that was their biggest problem in 2022. It was not multiple choice. They could name any player they wanted.
Felix Anudike-Uzomah: 3
Tyree Wilson: 0

Felix is excellent, but I can't say he's as good as Darren Howard. For my money, I'd say the three best defensive players EVER to wear purple were on the same team in 1999- Newman, Simoneau and Darren

Can't argue with that.

The BEST Defensive Player in the history of KSU was Gary Spani.
