Is Today A Turning Point For ADGT?

Post by WildcatEngineer » September 24th, 2022, 10:14 am

KU Football is undefeated and ready to go into the Top 25
KU vs KSU VB in Bramlage
KSU at OU

Is today a turning point day for KSU Athletics and ADGT?

I don’t think so. Having said this, if KU were to show this year that they have managed to close the gap vs K-State in football despite our long-standing advantages in football facilities and resources, then we better plan to do a lot of soul-searching.

Definitely not a turning point; however, the loss to Tulane raised a lot of questions about AM and Klein. I’m sure Klieman wasn’t expecting this level of offensive ineptitude. His post-game frustration was palpable. Expect a much more aggressive offense but with AM throwing a pick or two. We’ll know a lot after this game.

KU's Offense looks like the real deal.

Jalon Daniels has been stellar against Duke, and ku's off. coordinator is calling a good game

Gene has no control over what KU has done or will do. He should be judged on what he has done or will do for KSU. So not a turning point IMO.

KU is much improved, but I doubt they would be 4-0 without Jalon Daniels. As was mentioned earlier, KU had better be prepared to pay their coach a much higher salary and find a way to get more NIL $$$ to Daniels. They both may be gone by the end of this season.

Verdict is still out on both hires. I don't know how this would be a turning point. Considering the bowl game I have a hard time thinking the football coach's job should be on the line yet. If things haven't improved in another few weeks, we'll see what happens. Even then, the AD shouldn't be on the hot seat.

QB play can make all the difference in the success or failures of a team. Right now, from what I've seen, JD > AM. Don't think you can base the hiring of head coaches on 1 season. But if the trend continues with KU striking gold with QBs and KSU striking out a lot more fans will be questioning the hires.

KU just won the first set in Bramlage.

My logic for "Turning Point".
president Linton might want his own AD.
WBB - ADGT gave Mittie a questionable extension after KU overtook us last year. The season looks like last place now that we lost Lee.
VB - If we lose to KU at home that is not a good way to start the season
MBB - We are picked for last in the Big XII
FB - KU looks like they are the real deal and if we get rolled tonight, the season could snowball.

I am probably just being Chicken Little
