I do like Matt Wells, and coach said in his TX presser "my good friend Matt Wells". Get him on staff as OC and demote Mess to "consultant" (or less).

Heck, do like Coach Snyder did and have Wells and Messingham as Co-Offensive Coordinators. That way Klieman doesn't have to fire his buddy and he can bring in his other buddy with experience of coaching QBs and offenses. :)

BAM! I like it. Sign me up. It would be a good landing spot for Matt Wells for 2 years to get his career back on track for another head coaching gig. He's a very good coach.

My vote would be no. We need to move on. He is God around here. Let's leave it that way.

We had the start of a co-OC in Andre Coleman and Colin Klein.

I do not know what happened between Coleman and Klieman. But Klieman kept saying "Football is Football". We are now learning that was naive on his part. Coleman brought NFL matchup knowledge and Snyder tough love.

Scheelhaase please. Hurts ISU. He is an up and comer. And he kills it in KC recruiting.
