Friday Night Lights
OU's season opener vs. Temple moved up one day to 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝘂𝗴. 𝟯𝟬 – the first Friday night home game in stadium history.

OU spent the last years in the Big XII screaming about 11:00 AM start times on SATURDAYS. Here is a welcome to the SEC.

That is how they do it in the county that I live in, keep putting it up until you get the right turnout to get it slid through.

Oregon DB Daylen Austin was arrested last night for a hit and run
The hit and run resulted in the death of a 46 year old man.
Tragic.

it's somewhat telling that missouri can keep expanding their football digs while ku struggles to fund theirs, even stooping to welfare payments from the state and mining their endowment funds. this is most likely a reflection of the financial disparity between the sec and b12.

TM, I saw this on Twitter. It reads like a valid summary of cost cutting measures.
I did not see any valid source. I would not put much faith in this out take.

COLUMBIA, Mo. — The University of Missouri Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has received a historic $62 million philanthropic commitment to support renovations to Memorial Stadium and the Department's Tiger Fund program, Director of Athletics Desireé Reed-Francois announced Monday. The gift commitment is the largest received by Mizzou Athletics in the university's history.
The donor, who wishes to remain anonymous, has designated $50 million for the Memorial Stadium Improvements project to modernize Mizzou Football's home stadium, including the redevelopment of the North Concourse and other stadium upgrades. The remaining $12 million will go toward Mizzou's Tiger Fund — a charitable program through the Tiger Scholarship Fund that benefits Mizzou student-athletes. 2.5.2024
