Sounds like Colorado will McSuck once again, but then again, they kinda sucked last year, too.

If you know anything about coaching and building a program, you know this ridiculous experiment in Boulder is going to end badly. Deion Sanders doesn't care about developing players. He cares about being in the spotlight, himself, and his sons. That's it. All these people that bought his BS last year, I just laughed at. He is not a good head coach. He is a salesman that will buy enough talent to win 6-8 games. Culture, or lack thereof, will keep them from ever reaching championship status, even though he will have more raw talent than most if given time to buy some more talent.

He is leaving CU because he doesn't like competing for starting position. He would be at best #2 RB at KState. He isn't coming to Manhattan. Surprised he's leaving, Deon was "like a second father" to him. Lol

I pretty much agree with everything you said. He does only seem to really care about him and his sons, unless you’re an absolute superstar like Hunter was last year. Otherwise he’ll recruit over you in a heartbeat and really doesn’t care if you leave or not.

I do think they probably have a shot of being better this year than last, as they appear to be getting some offensive linemen that will make an immediate impact on their offense. The defense still remains to be seen. But from just a few things I’ve read I don’t think he’s very impressed with the Big12 as a whole, especially since OU and Texas are gone. But he should probably think twice before thinking that it’s going to be a walk in the part and CU will be in the top 3 or 4 of the conference. It’s still going to be a tough road. I just hope we’re really hitting on all cylinders when we go there and put a thumping on them.

Longtime college football radio host Greg Swaim relayed talks he's heard about the University of Nebraska merging its Lincoln and Omaha campuses to keep the necessary AAU accreditation to stay in the Big Ten.

There's been some talk that the Huskers will have to merge with their Omaha campus, as that's where the teaching hospital is, so that they can regain AAU accreditation," Swaim prefaced before saying, "Apparently the B1G brass are somewhat serious about booting Nebraska for their lack of accreditation."

Swaim first reported that the B1G could boot Nebraska from its ranks due to the lack of AAU accreditation on April 17

Six or eight might be a bit of a stretch. As much as Colorado is strapped for cash, I really don't see them having too much success in the portal either. If Deion lasts the whole season over there, I'd be surprised.

Deion has openly complained that Colorado does not have the "bag" to recruit the best athletes.

He is probably correct, but Geez everyone knows CU has had money issues for decades.
