I wish I was in Manhattan and I would.

I like how the old KSU Track and Field people are used as name for the different events.

Coach Rovelto is excellent.

The K-State track and field team competed in the final day of the DeLoss Dodds Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 3) at the K-State Indoor Track & Field Complex, ending the day with a record breaking men's 4x400 relay.

Seniors Eugene Omalla, Kyle Gale, Jaimie Omalla and freshman Tavon Underwood won the men's 4x400 with a time of 3:04.84, beating the previous time of 3:09.89 in 1989. Their time is currently no. 1 in the Big 12 Conference and no. 3 among the NCAA, behind only Florida and Arkansas.

At the Texas Tech Corky Classic on January 19-20, they finished runner-up with an altitude converted time of 3:06.16 (3:05.72).
