KSU-WSU-ku triangular
This annual meet started at 11:00. Monique Hardy threw over 72 feet in the weight throw which is currently the number one throw in the NCAA (although not a lot of meets yet). Sharie Eno won the high jump at 6’2” which puts her at #2 nationally.

Glad to see some other posters that follow K-State T&F. My father was a member of the K-State track team in the mid 50's. Held the school pole vault record for a while.....back when they used steel poles and landed in sand or sawdust.

I taught and coached for 42 years in the Cunningham and Valley Center school systems and I really enjoyed my time as a track and cross country coach(mixed in with basketball). One of our runners was Morgan Wedekind who won the Big 12 steeplechase championship several years ago.
