AD John Currie dropped Equestrian and started Soccer in 2015/16. Looking back, was that the correct decision?
I am split. I thought Equestrian was a graceful sport that matched our Ag Land Grant culture. But Soccer aligned with the rest of the Big XII and was more popular.

I agree with your thoughts. In today’s world, soccer is gaining in popularity and is spectator friendly which brings people to campus. More specifically with our team, hopefully we have more scoring potential in the years ahead. It seems that we sit back and defend and occasionally get a breakout.
