They took TCU 8-10 conference 16-14 overall; KSU was 1-1 vs TCU in The Morg
Baylor is 10-8 conference 16-12 overall; KSU was 1-1 vs Baylor in Waco
KSU is 10-8 conference 16-11 overall
When they discussed the last 4 in they talked about scheduling in non-conference.
First Baseball now this.

No way SFA should have been in over KSU. We certainly could have taken care of our own business better by beating Houston yesterday or not taking one of the bad losses Lipscomb, OU, and Cincy. KSU had the range to get bounced early or win some games. SFA....the committee should have done better than that selection. No top 50 wins. Wow.

Wow, TCU and not the Cats. I know I said they’d have no one to blame but themselves but that’s brutal. Just ridiculous.WildcatEngineer wrote: ↑November 26th, 2023, 7:25 pmi saw TCU early and I thought for sure based on conference records we were in.cutshot wrote: ↑November 26th, 2023, 7:11 pmNo way SFA should have been in over KSU. TCU is also interesting. They beat Florida State, Texas A&M, Georgia, Hawai'i , and Utah State in OOC. So they certainly did much better than we did in that respect. They had two bad losses just like us but to Cincy and WVU (vs KSU was OU and Cincy). We smoked them in good conf wins as they really had only 2x Baylor and KSU. But @bhoovy is right that we could have been in with only 1 more win (even the Lipscomb win would have put us over). We really choked at Lipscomb and OU in the 5th set.

points from the ESPN VB Tournament Show
- By conference SEC got 8 in Big XII got 7
- I do not recall seeing TCU listed as "Last 4 In"
- They showed 8 schools as "First 8 out". We were in that group.
I do not know if we got any credit for playing #1 Nebraska.
