Re: Cussing and berating the portal madness
Lots of programs were paying players when it was against the rules. It is fairer now, because it is out in the open. Student athletes have been taking easy classes and never intending to earn a degree for a long time and some will continue to do so. What has changed? The athletes are getting a cut....

You are correct, Bushwackers was 21, Aggie Station, Auntie Mae's (still kickin), and the Avalon (above Brother's). Thanks BamaCat, I forgot about the Avalon and Brothers. Not sure how I forgot about the latter since I frequented that place  . A few other establishments I remember were Aggie Lo...

Re: Past KSU Players & Coaches Thread
Jordy was quite the athletic stud. Also a good basketball player and could knock the cover off a baseball or softball with a swing of the bat. Trivia Question: Name the 4 most decorated Athletes to come out of Riley County - Yes Jordy is one of them I'm guessing Jordy, his brother Mike, his sister ...

just because it's a great picture. terence newman has always been one of my five all-timers (beginning snyder 1.0) along with michael bishop, cooper beebe, collin klein, and darren sproles. i'm not sure that terence wasn't the best 'baller of the lot, maybe coop or darren though, idk? https://pbs.t...

Re: Was hoping AJ could help fix this void we seem to have every year
The respect nationally comes simply from winning football games. Win the conference, win playoff games, have players win Heisman trophies, and win a NCAA championship. There are no excuses now. There's a 12 team playoff. If we win our conference, we will be in the 12 team playoff. Win football game...

Re: Portal 2024
If you live in the portal, you will die in the portal. Yep. Which is why retaining Ames and Colbert was fairly crucial, imo. Lost 2 developing players that would have been solid base contributors in the next 2 years. You gotta have that, along with a few portal pieces, to sustain a winning program....

Re: Portal 2024
This all sounds like a load of BS to me. Not that I think Self isn't a POS, but you really think Brad recruits based on what Self tells him to do? Underwood recruited him heavily when we snagged him out of Chicago, so he clearly knows the kid well. C'mon... LOL...

Re: Dylan Edward's Commits to Cats
For those concerned about DJ, I offer a hope that Dylan's addition allows him to showcase his versatility in receiving as a slot or TE or even WR. I think he will get an NFL W2 as a hybrid TE. He does not have the speed to be an NFL RB. You do not find that size with those hands and quick feet very...
